Interestingly, most of the mainstream, heteronormative, patriarchal porn I’ve observed suggests that the vaginal lip owning participants/actors are not especially aroused. In fairness, these actors usually have very «tidy» dominant culture normative genitals to begin with, so perhaps that is a factor. On the other hand, I’ve frequently been able to see what looked like the signs of physical arousal in vulva owners in amateur and/or less mainstream porn. This is crucial in terms of resonance, obviously.

Understanding our bodies in this way is so empowering. I used to see pictures of myself and think, «wait, the angle or the lighting must be wrong because that doesn’t look like me»
